    Description

    From its earliest beginnings in 1944, and since its incorporation in 1959, MAF New Zealand has been an integral part of the MAF family working closely with MAF Australia.  MAF New Zealand provided its first NZ staff to PNG in 1961 through Doug & Glenis Hunt, as well as engineering expertise at our then main engineering base at Ballarat, through Kiwis Alex & Mollie Jardine.

    This steady flow of people and expertise has continued since the 60's.
    Today many pilots and engineers work side by side with their international counterparts in Papua New Guinea, Aceh and Arnhem Land.  Others are serving with MAF teams in Africa and Central Asia.

    The MAFNZ Office is located in Manakau City (Auckland). Mark Fox is the Chief Executive and Kaye Martin is the administration manager.  The NZ Council meets bi-monthly and provides the governance and direction for MAFNZ.
