The recently purchased Twin Otter MFT was dedicated at Mt Hagen over the weekend of 15 - 16 October.  It was a time of celebration because the newly painted Twin Otter is now ready to begin its service with MAF in PNG. 

But it was also a time of sadness as the loss of the plane and two pilots in February this year was remembered.  Representatives from Telefomin and Bimin Valley were present and spoke of the impact that the crash at Bimin had on them, and of the respect and love that they have for MAF and its pilots.

Sharing in the celebrations were MAF staff and their families, the members of the MAF PNG Board as well as the Chairman of the MAF UK Board, Alan Devereux.
